HEART FOR GIVING
The 15th Annual Surviving and Thriving Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon hosted by Pink Alliance once again embodied the spirit of resilience and hope of breast cancer survivors. The crowd of more than 800 listened to featured speaker and Good Morning America Host Amy Robach speak of her personal journey with the disease. Julia and David Gardner were honored to be asked to donate a special piece for the raffle once again.
Stemming from Robach’s book entitled “Better: How I Let Go of Control, Held on to Hope, and Found Joy in my Darkest Hour,” the Gardners designed a version of David’s “Faith Hope and Love” bracelet naming it the “Hold on to Hope” bracelet. A gold link “Hold on to Hope” bracelet was made especially for and gifted to Amy Robach and the winner of the 2017 Surviving and Thriving raffle. This year’s raffle alone raised a whopping $34,000 which will go directly to fund breast cancer research efforts.
While another “Hold on to Hope” bracelet will not be made, the David Gardner designed Faith Hope and Love bracelet is available to be seen in-store.
